Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 2026-02-19. This policy explains how PureTab handles subscription cancellation, renewal, and refunds for paid digital services. If mandatory consumer protection law conflicts with this policy, applicable law takes precedence.

1. Scope

  • Monthly subscription: USD 5.00
  • Yearly subscription: USD 39.99
  • One-time paid digital features (if offered)
  • Marketplace/IAP purchases follow the marketplace refund policy first. Direct web payments follow this policy and payment processor rules.

2. Cancellation Model (How We Operate)

  • You can cancel auto-renewal any time before the next billing date.
  • Cancellation stops future charges only. Your current paid period remains active until the end date.
  • No prorated refund is issued for unused days in the current billing period, except where required by law.

3. Refund Policy (Default)

PureTab uses a no-refund default for active subscription periods. Once a billing cycle has started, fees for that cycle are generally non-refundable.

This includes change-of-mind cancellations made after payment, where access continues through the paid period end date.

4. Limited Refund Exceptions

  • Duplicate charge for the same account and billing period.
  • Clear billing error (for example, charge after confirmed cancellation).
  • Unauthorized charge verified after investigation.
  • Cases where refund is required by applicable mandatory law.

5. Cases That Are Usually Not Refundable

  • Change-of-mind after payment for the current cycle.
  • Cancelling auto-renewal while continuing to use the remaining paid term.
  • Issues caused only by user environment (device, OS, browser, network, third-party extensions) when service is otherwise operational.
  • Accounts restricted for abuse, fraud, policy violations, or chargeback abuse, subject to applicable law.

6. How to Request Review

  • Include account email, payment date/time, payment method, transaction ID, and reason.
  • We typically respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

7. Chargebacks and Abuse Prevention

If a chargeback is filed, PureTab may temporarily limit account access while verifying payment details. Confirmed abuse or fraud may lead to service and payment restrictions, subject to law.

8. Policy Updates

PureTab may update this policy due to legal, operational, or payment provider changes. Material updates are announced before the new effective date.
